Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Remittix Limited ("Remittix", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use the Remittix Markets trading interface at remittix.io (the "Interface"). Remittix Limited is the data controller.
You do not need an account to use the Interface. We do not ask for your name, email address, identity documents or bank details in order to trade.
1. What This Policy Covers
This policy covers the Interface only. It does not cover the Hyperliquid protocol or any blockchain — these are public, decentralised systems run by third parties and outside our control. It also does not cover your wallet provider or any third-party website we link to, each of which has its own policy.
2. What We Collect
- Wallet data — your public wallet address when you connect, and the public on-chain activity linked to it.
- Technical data — your IP address and the country it points to, your browser and version, operating system, device type, screen size, language and time zone.
- Access and usage data — dates and times of access, pages viewed, referring URL, which features and markets you use, and errors you encounter.
- Support messages — if you contact support@remittix.io, whatever you write and any contact details you choose to give us.
- Cookies and local storage — see Section 8.
3. What We Do Not Collect
We never collect and never ask for your private keys, seed phrase or wallet password. Nobody at Remittix will ever ask you for them — anyone who does is trying to steal from you.
We also do not collect your name, date of birth, home address, identity documents, bank account or card details, or any biometric or other sensitive category of personal data.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
4. Why We Use Your Data
We use it to:
- run the Interface and let you connect a wallet and place orders — this is necessary to provide the service you asked for;
- enforce the access restrictions in our Terms of Service, - including geo-blocking and screening for sanctioned addresses — this is a legal obligation and also our legitimate interest;
- keep the Interface secure — detecting fraud and abuse, rate limiting, preventing attacks — our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users;
- find and fix errors and improve the Interface — our legitimate interest in making the product work properly;
- reply to your support messages;
- comply with the law and respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators and law enforcement.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights. You can object to that processing — see Section 7.
5. Blockchain Data Is Public And Permanent
Transactions you make are recorded on public blockchains. Wallet addresses, amounts, positions and timestamps are public, permanent and cannot be changed or deleted — not by us, and not by anyone. We cannot erase or correct on-chain data on your behalf. Third parties can analyse this data and may be able to link it to your identity.
6. Who We Share Data With
We share personal data only with:
- Service providers working on our instructions — hosting and CDN, analytics, error monitoring, RPC and node providers, and blockchain screening providers. They are contractually required to protect your data and use it only as we tell them.
- Courts, regulators and law enforcement, where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend legal claims or to protect people from harm.
- A buyer or successor, if Remittix is ever merged, restructured or sold, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to processing we base on legitimate interests, withdraw any consent you have given, and complain to your local data protection authority.
Deletion and correction rights do not apply to blockchain data, for the reasons in Section 5.
To exercise any of these rights, write to support@remittix.io. We will reply within one month, or up to three months for complicated requests. We may ask you to prove that you control the wallet address in question, for example by signing a message.
8. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries.
Strictly necessary ones keep the Interface working — session handling, security, load balancing, remembering your wallet connection and your preferences such as chart layout and favourite markets. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics ones help us understand overall usage and improve the Interface. Where the law requires consent, we only set them if you agree.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but parts of the Interface may stop working properly.
9. International Transfers
We and our providers may process data in countries outside your own, including outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. When that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, normally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where it applies, or transfers to countries the European Commission considers adequate. Write to support@remittix.io if you want a copy.
10. How Long We Keep Data
- Access logs and IP addresses — up to 12 months, for security and compliance.
- Analytics data — up to 24 months, usually aggregated or pseudonymised.
- Support messages — up to 24 months after the issue is resolved.
- Anything we are legally required to keep — for as long as the law requires.
Blockchain data stays on the network permanently and is outside our control.
11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege access, and we review our providers regularly. No system is completely secure, though, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. The security of your wallet, keys and devices is your responsibility.
12. Children
The Interface is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us personal data, write to support@remittix.io and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we will give notice in the Interface. Continuing to use the Interface after an update means you accept it.
